Two Coughing Cases, Two Identical Root Causes

For those who have been keeping up with our blog, what came up in these clients while muscle testing might not be surprising – but the timing of them was definitely interesting, as they occurred within 3 days of one another.

In the first case, a new client in her early 70’s presented with a nagging cough that had been plaguing her since August. She had been to several specialists, including an ENT doctor, with no resolution.

When I began to muscle test her alongside our chart, the first root cause that came up was dehydration.

“How much water would you say you drink every day?” I asked her.

She laughed. “Not enough, I am sure. Maybe 3 glasses?”

Upon further investigation, it became clear that she was severely dehydrated and not consuming enough water for the density of her diet – which was largely comprised of toast and eggs for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, and meat and a vegetable for dinner. The amount of water she needed, per muscle testing, was about 110 ounces. She had been consuming about a quarter of that for most of her life.

When the body doesn’t receive enough water alongside a diet that’s mostly dense food, inflammation gets triggered and results in a wide variety of effects. In her case, it manifested in a stubborn cough that wouldn’t go away.

Another root cause that arose in testing was food toxicity, which had contributed to an inflamed airway and lungs.

In the second case, the mother of a toddler client emailed me early one morning, concerned that her son had croup. She explained that he was having trouble breathing the night before and coughing extremely hard. In an effort to help him breathe and also sleep, she had given him steroids but wanted me to also perform the protocol on him to address the underlying cause.

Initially I was concerned he may have a virus, but once I connected into him and began testing, guess what came up?

Dehydration, and dense food.

Further examination showed that his dinner the previous night was mostly comprised of dense food and not enough water to clear the density, which resulted in inflammation – impacting his wind pipe, lungs, and throat. There was no active virus in his body.

Both of these cases made me take a step back and think about the larger population, and how many people in the world are currently struggling with respiratory issues such as these. Seeing doctor after doctor, unsure what might be wrong, getting different answers (or none at all.)

How might everybody’s health transform if we simply drank more water?

If we started there - with something that is so very foundational for how our bodies function - how many symptoms might resolve on their own?
